Wow, is all I could say when I saw the end results of my shoot with Darly. We aimed to use the late afternoon golden hour of sunlight, combined with the natural colours and shapes of the botanical gardens, in order to achieve an excellent vibrant theme. The images even have a festival air about them.
To me, these images represent everything that I love about summer - the colours around me, the clothes that I wear, and how I feel with rays of sunlight on my face. Highlighted by the afternoon light, there is almost a touch of nostalgia in the images as if to contemplate the special moments in our life.
I can certainly say that I will be working with Darly again. She is extremely good at using the light and landscape around her to portray a successful mood. I was relaxed and entertained by her bubbly personality, and excellent directive style. Darly is a wonderfully talented photographer eager to expand her portrait and wedding portfolio.
